About Jazmine

I have always felt an inexplicable fascination with tarot. At 15, I bought my first deck from a small metaphysical shop that was close to my childhood home. At the time, I couldn’t explain why I bought it. I had no idea how to use it, and it wasn’t something that was particularly accepted within my community. And so, it was stored away. This same deck would be the one I learned on, 18 years later; when I was at a place in my life where I felt lost and was seeking direction and a sense of self. I stumbled upon a shop and discovered resources to learn how to read the cards. And pulled out that same, long-stored away deck, that still had the sticker from the original store on its box. As I began learning how to read the cards, I found myself on an unexpected journey of self-discovery. And I knew I had found my path.

Tarot is simply a tool. One that provides us with an opportunity for self-reflection, understanding and growth. All human experience is foundationally similar. And while the journey is unique to each of us, we all experience love, loss and lessons. Individually, the cards represent elements of that journey and aspects of the self. And when we are open to looking at ourselves as a whole being, including light and shadow aspects, we can begin to heal; To find acceptance. We can begin to break cycles of conditioning. We can call back our power and regain control of our lives. We do not have control over external circumstances in life, and so we can choose to find it within ourselves. By remembering who we were, honoring who we are and discovering who we are meant to become.

This is what learning to read tarot has done for me. And this is what I aim to share with others. I hope to inspire and empower people to become the best versions of themselves. To show love, compassion and grace to humanity. To guide others along the path of themselves. And with the hope that they too, will someday pay that love forward to others. If there is anything the world needs more of, it is love.
